I would be nowhere without the time I've spent at the University of Nevada, Reno. Their internship program gave me a taste of everything from technical directing, to operating a studio camera. I wrote stories, helped produce a newscast, and created my own CD-ROM project. All the grueling work was topped off with witty lectures by personable professors...Who can ask for anything more?

KOLO-TV
I began busting my chops at KOLO-TV Reno where I went from intern to teleprompter operator to tape operator in six months. I had every photographer I could corner, giving me feedback on my work; but without a full-time opportunity to master my craft it was time for me to move on.

KUSI-TV
While at KUSI-TV San Diego I discovered the 'art' of editing, whether it was matching shots to scripts in voice-overs or creating a rhythm between voice-tracks and natural sound in a reporter's package. While I went from SVHS to MII to Sony SP at this station I knew that the future was with digital editing so again I moved on.

KPNX-TV
KPNX-TV Phoenix not only put me to work with Sony SX but they also gave me enough room to flex my creative muscles by putting together natural sound movie reviews. For more than two years 12 News kept me entertained with satellite coordination, feature packages, and chief editor responsibilities but still I knew the truth was out there...

KCPQ-TV
...So I joined up with FOX affiliate KCPQ-TV in Seattle, where I introduced them to my version of the movie review and they tested my ability to meet deadlines. Their cutting-edge approach to news has put all my past experience to use, expanded my equipment knowledge to include DVC PRO and Grass Valley (News Edit, Advanced Edit, and NewsBrowse), and I've once again proven myself to be a workhorse. My unparalleled ability to go above and beyond the call of duty inspired the News Director to create a whole other job just for me...but still I felt I had more to give...

THOMSON GRASS VALLEY
...So I took my talents on the road and signed up to do contract work for Thomson Grass Valley. With this new gig I'm able to go around North America and train newsroom personnel on how best to use they're new digital news production system.

TOTALLY DIVINE VIDEO EDITING LLC
On top of all of this, I have been managing a small video editing business I lovingly call Totally Divine. This award-winning venture allows me to follow my inspiration and explore my many talents without being held back.
